d) A memory of you? I recall promoting you at Break Free; I was really proud at that moment, knowing that people like you were part of our member base. :D Memai and Mike felt the same way!

c) I like the fact that your so kind and polite to the people that you meet. We haven't known each other for too long, and we don't really talk that much, but from what I've seen, you’re sensitive and caring, which are great traits to have. :)
d) Memories! XD I think we may have gone head-to-head in the ill-fated Most Attractive Female FESSer category during the FESSer Awards one year. XD I could be wrong, but I'm willing to bet it was a man who came up with that category. XD

c) What I like most about you is how admirable you are. You never quit, lose your cool, get pushed around or let anyone down. ((You'd never make me cry, say goodbye, tell a lie and hurt me. XD )) We need more people like you in the world. :)
d) I will never, ever forget my second day on FESS because when I woke up that morning, you had left a nice big rant on the Announcements Board about spammy new members, with my name at the top of the list. XD Way to teach me a lesson and burn it into my brain. XD

f) I like your icon of Freddie's Jimmy drawing. When I saw the real picture a while ago, I was like, "Wow... He was actually a good artist." XD Anyways, good icon. Very powerful, yet minimalistic.

d) Hmm... We have so many memories together! I guess I particularly remember getting up early on Saturday mornings and talking/writing with you until noon. Those were good times. Fun times. XD I won't forget them, and sometimes we could go back to that point in time, you know?

c) I've told you this a million times, but you are an absolutely fantastic writer. I always think of you when it comes to writing narratives, and when I'm reading them, I always end up comparing them to your work, just to see how poorly they stack-up. XD
d) In general, I just remember being very happy and giddy whenever you left a comment on something I'd written because I admired you so much. It's always exciting when someone cool makes an effort to talk to you. XD
e) What exactly do you do for a living? I'm having trouble connecting travel, orchestra/theater and exploding binders together. XD

Date: 5/10/08 07:01 pm (UTC)To answer your question, my job is "litigation support," which means assorted behind-the-scenes busywork for huge corporate lawsuits. The majority of what we do is building digital document databases (since it's impractical to juggle 10000's of pieces of paper worth of evidence/exhibits - that's why the binder incident was so stupid!), and the recent travel has been to scan gov't documents that can't be photocopied or removed from the room they're in. It's often pretty boring! ;) And all the arts/music stuff I post about is because that's my guy's job, & I often get dragged into it. :)

c) Something I like about you? Well, for one thing, you caring and compassionate towards others, which is important, but I have to say, no one can make me laugh like you do. Lori and my sister are the only others who come close. XD Sometimes it only takes a certain look to make me burst out into laughter, but, there you have it. XD
d) Just one memory? Getting to know you back in tenth grade; it was so nice to finally have a friend in the last row of that lonely, lonely chemistry classroom. TT__TT ((I'll also add that you were a very nice boyfriend while it lasted! Thanks for being a gentleman.))

Date: 5/12/08 02:21 am (UTC)How did I get into Fire Emblem? I saw Marth and Roy and died over their outfits. I know that sounds stupid! When FE7 came to the USA, I was so excited, and I haven't really forgotten too much about it since.
My first impressions of FE7 were all good. I squee'd over the game for awhile but my interest waned a little for a few years before I started playing it again at a boring family thing-- I brought FE7 along with me for the actual family thing since I had to drive. I didn't put it down throughout the entire thing. <3
Haha, and that Sain icon was a BLAST to make. <333

d) This isn't necessarily a happy memory, but I remember when you announced your retirement to the staff. That made me sad; you were definitely an anchor in our community.

Date: 5/13/08 09:43 pm (UTC)1.) Serra. Cute, imperious, seemingly naïve, but she has a side that's strong, sweet, and vulnerable, too. There's much more to Serra than first meets the eye.
2.) Sain. Errant, flirty, gallant, and over the top in every way, but, at heart, a good person, brave and daring to a fault. (You can see why I pair him with Serra; they're really two of a kind.)
3.) Bartre. I picked him for my avatar because his FE6 self is very representative of who I am at this point in my life: aging, perhaps, but still strong, at least as long as he's got someone he must protect. The next generation can't sally forth without the previous generation's old warhorses, after all.

e) well this question always frightens me because you could always say something incriminating! >w<. But sure, I'll tell you a few random things about myself that I think you don't already know, but I'm gonna make you do the same :P
1)One of my main reasons for getting a job was actually to have money for learning how to play real golf.
2)I'm still a big fan of the Spice Girls, and attended there reunion tour.
3)I hate apple, and only have an Ipod because I won it for free at all night grad.
4)My favorite song is "Emerald City" by U.S.E., but all the rest of there music is awful; I have never liked another song by them.
5)In 1999, my favorite colour was Blue. I always wore it and painted my room that colour in respect to the Eiffel 65 song I was obsessed with. I also tried to collect everything in the song, but realized it was unlikely that I was ever going to have a blue corvette or a blue girlfriend so I gave up. Now my favorite colours are red/white/black.
6)As far as any type of long pants go, I only own black carpenter jeans.

Date: 5/13/08 02:32 pm (UTC)Anyway, I totally forgot how much I was addicted to Goldeneye on the N64. My brother left it on when he went to school one day, and I sat and played it until he got back in (I was ill, hence the not going to school part.)
I've been watching anime on youtube aswell, Chobits. It's pretty weird, but I've seen the first 8 episodes so I guess I have to finish it. I bought the boxset over the weekend.
