So I was admitted to the ER yesterday. D: Friday night, I had really severe stomach pains that kept me up until the next morning, which culminated into really severe vomiting. The pain was so bad that I couldn't even stand up straight, so I finally agreed to go to the hospital, where I was told that I had an ovarian cyst that had ruptured. The pain was caused by blood that had seeped into my stomach--apparently the two are never, ever supposed to mix--and the vomiting was a result of the intense pain. Going to a doctor tomorrow for follow-up care and instructions. I feel pretty crummy but I'm hanging in there. ;__;
So... is it normal to feel ill after getting a flu-shot? I had my first one ever yesterday afternoon, and I was fine, until this morning. I woke up with aches and pains, and now I feel like I'm about to be violently ill. My limbs don't really want to work right, and neither does my brain... Sorry for another sick post! D: I've honestly never been this busy before in my life--that's why I haven't been able to leave a proper entry or write back to any of you. I've been getting your letters though, and I really appreciate it. :)

Bleck... I hate this time of year. Everyone's sick with allergies and colds and all sorts of other unpleasant maladies. I thought I would be able to escape without illness this season but... I woke up with a sore throat this morning and it's only gotten worse throughout the day. I flat out crashed with my DS sometime after noon. I was playing Apollo Justice up on the loft and just... fell asleep, with Ema still munching on her Snackoos no less. Now I feel so weak and tired and my ears hurt and everything sounds too loud and the room is too hot. Thankfully, I took care of all my work earlier in the day. I hope they have some cough drops or honey or ice cream or something at the general store; I don't feel good enough to take the bus to the grocery store. Bah, perhaps I'll feel better tomorrow. I hope so... I have a rather large German test first thing in the morning and I absolutely can't miss it. ((That would be sehr schlecht.)) Any tips regarding home-made remedies would be much appreciated. ((Except for gargling salt. Yuck. XD ))
Whiningly Yours,
Popo
PS: I meant to bring this up sooner but if anyone here wants a pen-pal, let me know. I enjoy writing letters. :)

So. I spent half the day in the Emergency Room because of a Kidney Stone. O____O
It was scary... They did a CT Scan and gave me an IV and everything. I've never been to the hospital before as a patient, and I was sort of hesitant to go because usually only really sick people go there, but the pain was so bad this morning that I thought I just might die. I though I was going to naturally combust because my body hurt so much. It's no joke when people say that Kidney Stones cause "the most excruciating pain you'll ever feel". Even the doctor told me that having a baby hurts about ten times less. O___O That's very reassuring, actually.
Love,
Popo
PS: Today was my mom's birthday and the poor thing spent the whole day tending to me. D: I love that women so much.♥
