I don't think your missing a whole lot, to be honest. I managed to finish GK1, but I didn't enjoy the characterization/plot nearly as much as I did in the other games. It just felt like some kind of emotional factor was missing. :/

In all seriousness, if they go ahead with this game, I sincerely hope that they make some changes from the previous title and get all the bugs worked out. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't exactly satisfying either. Maybe they can appease fans like me with some cameos from the AJ characters. XD

I don't want another mediocre, fanservicey Edgeworth spin-off to the series. I want them to get down to business and at least finish what they started in the main series. Because of this, now we'll probably have to wait another two to three years for a main entry because they won't want to pimp two games at one.

I was just disappointed by the last game, that's all. If it's better this time and I actually feel engaged, I'd be on board for more GK. And regardless of how gay or not gay any of them are, I honestly just miss cute little Apollo and his much better looking prosecutor friend. XD
