Darker Than A Moonless Night

"Blacker then a moonless night, hotter and more bitter than hell itself.. That is coffee."
So. I finished Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations yesterday night... D: I cried when I made my last Objection! as Phoenix... Seriously. XD And as the rest of the plot unfolded before my eyes, I was even more upset, so I did the girl-thing and sniffled at how in the end, even a game about overzealous lawyers eventually rolls itself into a tragic love story. *sigh* It nearly broke my heart, honest to goodness. I felt for some of those characters. XD It was like reading a great book and finally reaching the end.
I'm so sad now that I've beaten the series! Playing the Phoenix Wright games have been a daily indulgence of mine for the last month or so, give or take a few days. It's like, I have this void in my schedule now. A hole! I don't know what to do... XD When I got home from school today, I was like, "Okay... What do I do for the next few hours...?" It's so pathetic how the end of that game moved me to tears...XD Sorry all you manly men reading this; I'm a highly emotional women, I'll have you know. XD
Diego... you were so kind, and so hot. XD Please call me "kitten" again. ♥
Anyways, life is good, not much has changed. XD I rocked-out on my 1st semester grades so I'm pretty happy about that. I have straight A's in Astronomy, Latin IV and both Art classes so that's something to be proud of. Also! I didn't fail Calculus! Yay! I wanted to thank my teacher for not failing me, but then she reminded us that we got what we earned, so I was all happy and self-empowered and joyous. I seriously felt like I could anything at that moment. XD ((Ean... you totally forced me into sharing my grades...! XD ))
I guess it would be cool to mention colleges... So far, I've been accepted at George Mason University and James Madison University. I'm still waiting to hear from Mary Washington and Virginia Tech, which don't mail out their acceptance letters until the first of March and April, respectively. So, I'm 2 for 2 at the moment! w00t!
I'm so indecisive... I know for a fact that I don't want to go to Madison because despite it's reputation as an academically good school, it also has the reputation of being a drunken, predominately female, non-stop party of sorts. XD Most schools have some aspect of that, but all anyone seems to do at Madison is paint their nails and drink cheap beer. Yay. XD This is all word of mouth, by the way, but I don't want to go to a school in which I might get seen as... less than complimentary. XD
I'd really like to go to Mason, but people keep getting me down on it. Apparently I'm too smart to go there, but it's an awesome school! You can study anything there, and at the same time, get a fabulous education. Astronomy, Economics, English... All my "preferred" majors are available there, and they excel at them! So, why not, right? It's such a hard choice, considering that I have to take into account the other schools. Mary Washington was my top choice for a while, but the campus is about as big as my thumbnail and they have a rather small, liberal-arts-based list of majors that doesn't really appeal to me all that much. And Tech... wow. If I get in there, that changes everything.
I'm getting ready to leave soon, as Lori and I are sitting here at Robotics and she's about to take off, so I'll see you all later! Much love in your general direction!
Popo
PS: Oh my gosh... I went on an Icon-binge this afternoon. XD

Date: 2/5/08 05:16 am (UTC)Aha, Bully kinda did the same thing to me for a while, I'd have this routine where I'd play it for a little while then when I finished the game, I was left with nothing to do! Xc (well... aside from finishing up side missions, but I don't think Ace Attorney has anything of the sort, does it?) I'm sure you'll get back that time and find something to do >w<
And me? Force you to share grades? Naw > w> But still, congrats on them all the same >w
