FE1: Marth, obviousy. FE2: Alm and Celica are the main characters. You switch between them for the first couple chapters, and then after that they move independently on the world map with their own parties. (For the record, I always give Alm teal hair, as per his box art.) FE3: Marth. Again! Just older. FE4: Sigurd for the first generation, Celice for the second generation (after Sigurd kicks the bucket). FE5: Leaf. FE6: Roy, definitely. Lilina is to Roy as Caeda is to Marth. FE7: Lyn, Eliwood, and Hector, depending on the story you're playing. FE8: Eirika and Ephraim, depending on which route you took. FE9: Ike. FE10: This is the trickiest out of all of them, since the game is all over the place. Ike and Micaiah for sure. I would not include the side-mains from later chapters (Elincia, Sanaki, etc.) FE11: N/A FE12: N/A FE13: Krom, presumably.
