Monster is the best anime I've ever seen, and probably ever will see. Period. *A*

Please, if you like anime and have not seen this show, do yourself a favor and watch it. As I said on dA, unless you have the attention span of a duck, you'll enjoy it. I promise. I just finished the last episode, and was totally floored by the whole affair. I have no words to describe the series, just that it's brilliant and beautiful and satisfying and that by not watching it, you're depriving yourself of a real treat.

I watched the first episode a while back and it didn't really catch me.

I don't have the attention span of a duck eithier because my all time favorite anime is 110 episodes long.

I have yet to see the anime but I absolutely adored the manga. Enough so that I cosplayed Herr Dr.Tenma at the last convention I went to because I am a freaking dork XD)

After the first four episodes, it completely stops being a medical drama and deviates into the psychological thriller/horror/mystery/suspense genres, to name a few. I actually watched the first episode again last night, and it all seems SO different and tame than how the plot actually ends up. XD

I'm sure I will. I kept thinking while watching the show, "Wow! If the anime is this good, the mnaga must be incredible!"

Obligatory question, but... whose your favorite character? XD I like... almost everyone, basically, and dislike very few characters, despite the gigantic cast. XD If I had to pick though, I suppose there's a special place in my heart for Johan, Anna, Grimmer, Dieter and of course, Tenma. Main characters unite! XD

Whoaaaa, that's my friend Sam's favorite manga EVER. I think he has all the volumes, too! I remember reading the first book and really liking it, but I never got around to finding the rest of them. If it's so good, I'll see if I can borrow them from him. Since I don't have the appropriate attention span required for watching anime anymore. XD

One of my favorite manga is MPD Psycho. You should read it someday. If you like horrible twisted things like I do~ You would love it!!

It can be tedious to watch if you're short on time. It took me two weeks, and I had to watch several episodes each day. XD But yeah! See if you can find the manga online! It's one of those series that you have to commit to and stick with, but it's SO satisfying. XD
