As long as you don't get attached - or catch anything from a disease to a wayward sperm - then yeah, have at it! But don't get shocked or embarrassed by that statement, because I've seen it happen too often to be comfy.

As for your CTRL key, do you have Sticky Keys enabled? Hit Shift a few times until something pops up (if you're using Windows; if not, let me know), and then hit "Settings" in the dialogue box that pops up. Is anything checked?
